Swiggy is hiring a Legal Director (General Corporate) to join them in Bengaluru office in a hybrid mode.
Role and Responsibilities
- Team Management and Stakeholder Management.
- Structuring and evaluating business initiatives & drafting policies and SOPs.
- Setting Up Governance Structure.
- Advising and supporting end-to-end on-going businesses undertaken by the verticals.
- Proactively advise and assist in managing important change in laws and regulation, identifying risks and preparing mitigation strategy.
- Lead the team in developing processes, policies and procedures designed to reduce legal risk and/or increase efficiency.
- Work with support functions and business team to ensure that policies of the company are being implemented, work with business teams to ensure compliance and smooth implementation of policies and processes.
- Work on new projects.
Eligibility
- LL.B., from a recognized university in India or relevant qualification , 10-12 years of exp.
- Competence in broad range of corporate and business laws, especially in both Indian domestic and international commercial transaction and intellectual property.
- Extensive experience and strong skills in drafting and negotiating contracts; Extensive experience in analyzing and responding to regulatory and compliance matters.
- Expertise in analysing and assessing business risks, processes, issues and propose/implement solutions; Ability to function autonomously yet communicate laterally and upwardly with ease and transparency.
