Affinity is hiring a Director – Legal with 10+ years of experience to lead its global legal function.
Role and Responsibilities
- Act as a strategic legal advisor to senior leadership.
- Lead global commercial contracting, including MSAs, SLAs, and technology agreements.
- Ensure contract standardisation and manage lifecycle systems like SpotDraft.
- Drive compliance with data protection, competition, and advertising laws.
- Develop legal risk dashboards and mitigation strategies.
- Support global entity expansion and restructuring initiatives.
- Oversee intellectual property protection for software, AI assets, and branding.
- Manage external counsel and optimise legal spend.
- Strengthen legal processes, automation, and governance frameworks.
- Conduct legal training and awareness sessions.
- Lead and mentor the in-house legal team.
Eligibility
- LL.B. from a premier law school; LL.M. preferred.
- 10+ years of PQE.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Global SaaS or AdTech company (mandatory).
- Experience in international contracting and multi-jurisdictional matters.
- Prior in-house or reputed law firm experience.
- Familiarity with contract lifecycle management tools like SpotDraft.
- Strong understanding of AI, data privacy, and digital business models.
