Details of the Job/Internship
BNP Paribas is hiring a qualified lawyer or documentation specialist with 6-10 years of experience to join its Legal Support team in Mumbai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft and review securities issuance documents (e.g., Pricing Supplements, Final Terms) under BNPP’s structured products programs.
- Coordinate with front, middle, and back office teams on all aspects of the issuance process and lifecycle events.
- Manage legal risks related to structured securities in compliance with internal CIB Legal standards.
- Conduct analysis, research, and documentation review for APAC-region securities transactions.
- Support the Structured Securities Legal, APAC team in handling transactional and operational legal matters.
- Communicate effectively with cross-border teams and ensure timely progress reporting.
Eligibility
- Qualified lawyer with 6–10 years of post-graduation experience in structured finance, derivatives, or capital markets documentation.
- Candidates without formal legal qualifications but with extensive relevant experience may be considered.
- Strong understanding of structured securities and international financial documentation.
- Excellent drafting, analytical, and communication skills.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple assignments.
- Fluency in English required.
