Details of the Job/Internship
Hotfoot Technology Solutions is hiring a Manager in the Legal Domain with experience of 2–5 years.
Role and Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed title searches and legal due diligence for residential, commercial, and industrial properties.
- Examine document chains, revenue records, municipal approvals, RERA records, encumbrance certificates, and court search reports.
- Identify title defects and prepare Legal Scrutiny Reports (LSR) and Title Search Reports (TSR).
- Draft, review, and vet mortgage-related documents such as loan agreements, sanction letters, deeds of mortgage, hypothecation documents, and guarantee documents.
- Provide legal support for recovery and litigation matters.
Eligibility
- LL.B. mandatory.
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in legal operations within an NBFC, bank, or housing finance company.
- Strong exposure to mortgages, LAP, and home loans.
- Retired professionals may also apply.
- Knowledge of property and land laws, SARFAESI, RERA, Stamp Act, Registration Act, RBI and NHB norms.
- Ability to draft legal documents and legal opinions.
- Proficiency in MS Office, documentation management systems, and lending systems (added advantage).
