Details of the Job/Internship

iTV Network is hiring a Legal Editor Cum Anchor for its platform Legally Speaking, a digital legal news website, based in New Delhi. The role involves legal journalism, anchoring legal news shows, covering courts and legal institutions, and producing accurate and engaging legal content for digital audiences.

Role and Responsibilities

• Researching, writing, and editing legal news stories, explainers, and opinion pieces.
• Anchoring legal news shows, interviews, and panel discussions for digital platforms.
• Covering the Supreme Court, High Courts, and other legal institutions.
• Simplifying complex legal judgments and developments for a general audience.
• Coordinating with reporters, video editors, and digital teams for content production.
• Ensuring accuracy, legal compliance, and adherence to editorial standards.
• Tracking breaking legal news and providing timely updates.
• Conducting interviews with legal experts, advocates, and policymakers.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law or Journalism with strong legal reporting experience.
• 7–15 years of experience in legal journalism, digital media, or television news.
• Strong command over spoken and written English.
• Hindi language skills are an added advantage.
• Strong on-camera presence with excellent presentation skills.
• Sound knowledge of the Indian Constitution, legal system, and court procedures.

Salary/Stipend
