LexisNexis is hiring a Legal Editor to join their office in Gurugram.
Role and Responsibilities
- Review and edit legal content for accuracy, consistency, and adherence to editorial guidelines.
- Ensure all published information is clear, concise, and accessible to legal professionals.
- Implement editorial standards and quality checks to correct errors in legal data.
- Manage publishing schedules and implement plans for product enhancements.
- Identify process improvements through technology automation and AI integration.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to improve content quality and user experience.
- Assist customer operations with queries and contribute to content standardization initiatives.
- Stay updated on legal developments and industry trends to enhance content relevance.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B. or equivalent).
- Strong understanding of legal terminology, concepts, and research methods.
- Proficiency in English with excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interest in learning and integrating AI into everyday legal workflows.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a collaborative, team-oriented approach.
