Manupatra is hiring a Legal Editor with minimum 1 year of experience to join their office in Noida. 

Role and Responsibilities

Content Analysis & Relevance

• Develop a deep understanding of legal content to identify what is insightful and relevant for publication.
• Stay updated on legal developments, court trends, and industry movements to ensure content reflects market needs.

Judgment Review & Categorization

• Analyze High Court and Tribunal judgments to extract key legal issues, statutory references, and outcomes.
• Classify judgments by legal topics, subject matter, industry relevance, and case disposition.

Legislative Content & Bare Act Analysis

• Study statutes, amendments, and parliamentary bills to highlight essential provisions, objectives, and legal implications.
• Track and summarize legislative updates from Parliament and classify them by sector, legal subject, and status.

Research & Content Enhancement

• Conduct legal research to enrich and update content repositories across diverse areas of law.
• Ensure accuracy, clarity, and value addition in all published material.

Editorial & Quality Assurance

• Execute editorial processes including indexing, sequencing, and structuring content for optimal user experience.
• Follow defined editorial workflows and maintain the highest standards of quality and consistency.

Eligibility

• Strong interest in legal research, legal writing, and content analysis.
• Sharp analytical skills and the ability to simplify complex legal concepts.
• Awareness of legal industry trends and user expectations.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Adobe Acrobat, and web-based legal research.
• Excellent English writing skills with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and maintain content integrity.

Salary/Stipend
