Thomson Reuters is hiring a Legal Editorial Associate – Indexing with 2+ years of experience to join its Hyderabad office.
Role and Responsibilities
- Create and update legal indexes, ensuring accuracy and relevance of legal concepts and terms.
- Draft back-of-the-book indexes, incorporating them into general indexes as required.
- Adhere to editorial publishing schedules, style guidelines, and quality standards.
- Verify accuracy, completeness, and organization of legal content.
- Conduct analysis and provide legal interpretation to enhance research value for customers.
- Participate in team meetings, feedback sessions, and self-evaluations to support professional growth.
- Develop knowledge of Thomson Reuters publications, competitor products, and company systems.
Eligibility
- Education: LL.B. / LL.M. from a recognized law school.
- Minimum 2+ years of experience.
- Strong knowledge of legal concepts and terminology.
- Excellent drafting, analytical, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and online legal research tools.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and deliver results under pressure.
- Team player with strong collaboration and relationship management skills.
