Details of the Job/Internship
HSAG Consulting Private Limited is hiring a Legal Entity Controller-Analyst with 2–4 years of experience to join their office in Goregaon, Mumbai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Prepare and review journal entries and ensure accurate accounting treatment of transactions.
- Prepare and review segment results, including variance analysis and commentary.
- Assist with quarterly internal and external financial reporting.
- Perform daily cash bookings, monthly bank reconciliations and expense allocation analysis.
- Coordinate with Front Office on deal status and projected allocations.
- Review intercompany analysis and reconciliations quarterly.
- Support financial reporting related to GP Securitization and Broker Dealer transactions.
- Assist with AUM and management reporting, and handle ad-hoc requests.
- Provide support for internal files and external audit reviews.
- Work on system implementations, automation, report building and process improvements.
- Maintain SOX controls environment and documentation.
- Handle ad-hoc requests and provide value-added analysis.
Eligibility
- ICAI, CPA or equivalent qualification required.
- Bachelor’s degree with a major in finance, accounting or economics.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP accounting.
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Microsoft Excel.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
