Details of the Job/Internship

Teamware Solutions is hiring a Legal Entity Controller with 3–8 years of experience to join their office in Mumbai. The role involves overseeing legal entity reporting, managing financial statements, coordinating with internal stakeholders, supervising reconciliations, and ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.

Role and Responsibilities

• Oversee preparation and presentation of accurate and timely information on legal entities for senior management.
• Review statutory financial statements, management accounts, and variance analysis.
• Validate US Federal Reserve entity-level reporting and ensure compliance.
• Supervise monthly reconciliations of accounts and balances.
• Coordinate with Tax, Treasury, Legal, Compliance, Company Secretarial, Product Controllers, and other stakeholders.
• Lead and support monthly, quarterly, and annual processes for managed entities.
• Manage and mentor staff within the Mumbai team.
• Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, external auditors, and regional service providers.
• Participate in process re-engineering, standardization, and automation initiatives.
• Support business units in setup, opening & closing of entities, and system/ledger requirements.
• Contribute to entity-specific projects and reporting control framework.

Eligibility

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA).
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, accounting, journal entries, balance sheet, and financial statements.
• Experience in statutory audits, reconciliations, and management reporting.
• Legal Entity Controller (LEC) accounting exposure is a plus.
• Experience with financial automation, data visualization, and reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau) is preferred.
• Familiarity with financial products used in the financial services industry is an advantage.
