State Street is hiring a Legal Entity Reporting - Assistant Manager with 5-7 years of experience to join their office in Bengaluru.

Role and Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of statutory financial statements (annual and quarterly) and Board of Director reports for legal entities under US GAAP and IFRS.
• Translate complex accounting transactions into accurate financial statement presentations and disclosures.
• Collaborate with Controllers and Accounting Policy teams to develop new disclosures in line with evolving standards.
• Support automation initiatives for statutory and board reporting, including identifying key data sources.
• Manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, global environment.
• Ensure timely and accurate submission of all required filings and reports.
• Foster strong cross-functional relationships with internal stakeholders across jurisdictions.

Eligibility

• Chartered Accountant (CA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
• 5–7 years of relevant experience in financial reporting, preferably within a large financial services firm or public accounting environment.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP and IFRS standards.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven ability to manage reporting deadlines and navigate complex financial data.
• Experience with automation and process improvement is a plus.
