Details of the Job/Internship
Licious is hiring a Legal Executive – Litigation with 3–6 years of experience to join their office in Bengaluru, Karnataka.
Role and Responsibilities
- Handle litigation and pre-litigation matters, including civil, criminal, labour, and consumer cases.
- Coordinate with external counsel, monitor case progress, and ensure timely filings.
- Maintain litigation trackers and repositories for orders and pleadings.
- Assist internal teams with affidavits, witness statements, and legal notice responses.
- Manage recovery actions in coordination with Finance and Operations.
- Draft demand, termination, and recovery notices.
- Track legal and recovery progress and prepare performance dashboards.
- Conduct case law and regulatory research.
- Update legal policies and tools and support IT enhancements.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in law (LLB) from a recognized university; LLM preferred.
- Enrolled with the Bar Council of India.
- 3–6 years of experience in litigation, recovery, or legal operations.
- Familiarity with Indian civil, criminal, and commercial laws, and arbitration preferred.
- Proficiency in legal management tools and MS Office.
- Strong drafting, research, communication, and multitasking skills.
