Details of the Job/Internship
Navayuga Engineering Company Limited is hiring a Legal Executive with up to 1 year of experience to join their office in Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and vet contracts, agreements, EPC contracts, subcontracts, NDAs, and MoUs.
- Assist in contract administration, interpretation, and compliance monitoring during projects.
- Coordinate with project teams on legal inputs related to claims, variations, and contract correspondence.
- Support management in litigation, arbitration, and dispute resolution, liaising with external counsels.
- Conduct legal research on relevant statutes, case laws, and regulatory updates in construction and infrastructure.
- Maintain accurate legal documentation and records.
- Assist in ensuring compliance with applicable laws, company policies, and contractual obligations.
- Prepare legal notices, responses, and briefs under guidance.
Eligibility
- B.A./B.B.A. LL.B. (5-year integrated law degree) from a recognized university.
- LL.M. in corporate/commercial law preferred.
- Freshers to 1 year of experience in legal roles, preferably in infrastructure, engineering, or construction sectors.
- Strong drafting, negotiation, and legal interpretation skills.
- Good understanding of contract law, arbitration, and dispute resolution mechanisms.
- Proficient in legal research and analysis.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
