Details of the Job/Internship
Exotel is hiring a Legal Executive – Contracts Counsel with 4–6 years of experience to join their office in Bengaluru.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts including MSAs, SaaS agreements, SLAs, NDAs, DPAs, and vendor contracts.
- Advise internal teams on legal, regulatory, and compliance aspects of contracts.
- Support contract lifecycle and repository management.
- Ensure compliance with applicable Indian laws including data privacy and IT regulations.
- Collaborate with external counsel on complex legal matters.
- Develop internal legal processes, templates, and risk mitigation frameworks.
Eligibility
- LL.B. from a Tier 1 or Tier 2 law school.
- 4–6 years of post-qualification experience in contracts management, with preference for SaaS or ITES sector.
- Strong legal drafting, negotiation, and advisory skills.
- Familiarity with Indian data protection laws and CLM tools.
- Experience working in fast-paced or start-up environments is preferred.
