Tradologie is seeking a proactive Corporate Legal Counsel to join our growing team. The role involves providing legal guidance across business functions, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, drafting and reviewing agreements, managing legal risks, and handling litigation matters.
Role and Responsibilities
- Legal Advisory & Risk Management
- Provide counsel on labor law, partnerships, international ventures, corporate finance, and regulatory compliance.
- Research and assess risk factors associated with business and operational decisions.
- Develop and implement risk management strategies to minimize exposure.
- Compliance & Governance
- Establish and maintain governance frameworks and compliance policies.
- Monitor compliance across departments, ensuring adherence to corporate and regulatory standards.
- Conduct internal audits and keep leadership informed of legislative updates.
- Contract Management
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
- Ensure all contracts align with company objectives and protect legal rights.
- Stakeholder Collaboration
- Liaise with regulators, public authorities, and external counsel.
- Build trust-based relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Dispute Resolution
- Support management in developing defense strategies for disputes and litigation.
- Handle complex legal issues with discretion and professionalism.
- Training & Support
- Deliver legal training and guidance to internal teams on compliance matters.
- Simplify and explain legal concepts for non-legal stakeholders.
- Proactive Legal Measures
- Anticipate and mitigate potential legal risks through strategic measures.
- Ensure business operations comply with applicable laws and frameworks.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B.) from a recognized institution (LL.M. preferred).
- 3–5 years of relevant experience, ideally in corporate, B2B, SaaS, or trading sectors.
- Prior in-house corporate legal department experience is a plus.
Salary/Stipend
