Details of the Job/Internship

Arcot Group is hiring a Legal Executive (IP, Patents, Trademarks & Compliance) with 2–5 years of experience to join their office in Navi Mumbai.

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft, file, and manage trademark, patent, and copyright applications.
• Conduct patentability assessments, prior art searches, and infringement analyses.
• Maintain renewal schedules and IP compliance deadlines.
• Monitor and address unauthorized use or infringement of company IP.
• Draft, review, and manage contracts such as IP assignment agreements, licensing agreements, NDAs, technology vendor contracts, terms of use, and privacy policies.
• Ensure all documents safeguard IP, data privacy, and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure compliance with Indian and international IP laws, including WIPO frameworks.
• Provide strategic compliance guidance to leadership.
• Coordinate with patent attorneys, government authorities, and legal consultants.
• Support objections, disputes, and litigation as needed

Eligibility

• LLB or LLM degree.
• Specialization or certification in Intellectual Property or Patent Law (preferred).
• 2–5 years of experience in patent drafting and filing, IP compliance in technology/software sectors, and legal research and drafting.
• Strong understanding of technology-related legal frameworks and industry standards
