Manipal Hospitals (MHEPL) is hiring a Legal executive litigation with experience of 1 to 4 years to join their office in Bengaluru.
Role and Responsibilities
- The position holder will be responsible for drafting and vetting notices, pleadings, and submissions for medico-legal and commercial litigation. Will maintain a tracker of all litigations, analyze, report trends, and provide insights for litigation prevention.
- Maintain, monitor, and analyze statutory and regulatory compliance levels across all group hospitals.
- Active management of medico-legal cases by coordinating with the medical teams and the advocates.
- Drafting notices, vetting notices, responding/handling statutory notices, regulatory notices, and different complaints by our patrons.
- Monitoring of the cases by coordinating with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Draft recovery notice and actively participate in the recovery of dues.
- Analyze the legal risk and cost to the company and advise the management for implementation of a strategy to mitigate the risk.
- Assistance in due diligence and M&A activities & Company Secretarial activities.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Law.
- Minimum of 1 - 4 years of experience in various courts and regulatory tribunals applicable to healthcare establishments.
- Good communication skills, both oral and written, including effective negotiation skills
- Counseling skills.
