Ultra Media & Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. is hiring for the position of Legal Executive ( Litigation) with 3 years of experience to join their office in Mumbai. 

Role and Responsibilities

Media Litigation Expertise:

• Manage and oversee all aspects of media-related litigation, including defamation, copyright infringement, and IP disputes.

Drafting & Pleadings:

• Draft, review, and finalize a variety of legal documents such as plaints, written statements, affidavits of evidence, writ petitions (civil and criminal), and appeals.

Contract Management:

• Negotiate, draft, and review contracts and agreements with music labels, artists, celebrities, content creators, vendors, and clients to ensure legal protection and commercial viability.

Representation & Advocacy:

• Represent the company before courts, tribunals, and regulatory authorities in connection with ongoing and prospective legal matters.

Eligibility

• LL.B. degree from a recognized university; additional qualifications in IP or media law are a plus.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant post-qualification experience, specifically within the Media & Entertainment sector.
• Strong drafting and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in handling both civil and criminal matters related to media and content.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with internal stakeholders and external counsels.
