Details of the Job/Internship
BASF is hiring a Legal Executive with 2–3 years of post-qualification experience to join their office in Bengaluru.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft agreements including lease deeds, employment agreements, service agreements, distribution agreements, supply agreements, and NDAs.
- Manage end-to-end Contract Life Cycle Management (uploading, monitoring expiry, coordinating renewals).
- Prepare template-based agreements and ensure execution as per company process.
- Act as liaison between internal and external parties during contract stages.
- Research applicable laws and update the business team and senior legal counsel.
- Draft affidavits, power of attorney, letters of authority, and other litigation/permit-related documents.
- Provide litigation support, including monitoring progress and coordinating with external counsel.
Eligibility
- LLB / Bachelor of Law with 2–3 years of post-qualification experience (preferably in seeds industry or agri-inputs, though not mandatory).
- Strong communication, research, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in electronic document management systems and legal processes.
- Ability to handle confidential matters, prioritize tasks, and work under deadlines.
- Proactive, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and a team player.
