Details of the Job/Internship
Arcot is hiring a Legal Executive (IP, Patents, Trademarks & Compliance) with 2–5 years of experience to join their on-site office in Vashi, Navi Mumbai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, file, and manage trademark, patent, and copyright applications.
- Conduct patentability assessments, prior art searches, and infringement analysis.
- Manage renewal schedules and compliance deadlines.
- Monitor and address unauthorized use or infringement of company IP.
- Draft, review, and manage IP assignment, licensing, NDA, vendor, and technology-related agreements.
- Ensure documents protect IP, data privacy, and regulatory compliance.
- Ensure compliance with Indian IP laws, international IP protocols, and technology regulations.
- Provide compliance and IP-related guidance to leadership.
- Coordinate with patent attorneys, authorities, and legal consultants.
- Support objections, disputes, and litigation as required.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law (LLB/LLM).
- Specialization or certification in Intellectual Property or Patent Law is preferred.
- Two to five years of experience in patent drafting, filing, and IP compliance.
- Strong understanding of technology and software-related legal frameworks.
