Details of the Job/Internship
Bajaj Allianz General Insurance Limited is hiring for the position of Legal Executive to join their office in Siliguri .
Role and Responsibilities
- Handle end-to-end MACT cases, including court appearances and evidence presentations.
- Scrutinize case files and documentation to determine legal strategy.
- Draft and file Written Statements, Arguments, and other court submissions.
- Provide legal advice and updates on case status to internal stakeholders.
- Prepare and maintain accurate legal data, MIS, and case reports.
- Liaise with external counsel as required.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized institution.
- Sound understanding of the Motor Vehicles Act, CPC, CrPC, IPC, and the Indian Evidence Act.
- Experience in legal drafting, conveyancing, and litigation support.
- Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage responsibilities on-site in Siliguri.
- Prior experience in the insurance sector is an added advantage.
