Details of the Job/Internship
CFM Asset Reconstruction Pvt Ltd is hiring a Legal Associate with 1+ years of experience in banking or financial institutions/NBFCs/ARCs.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft and vet documents related to loan assignments and SARFAESI notices.
- Assist in case follow-up before DM/CMM, DRT, NCLT, appellate courts, and tribunals.
- Draft and vet plaints, written statements, evidences, affidavits, replies, and petitions.
- Coordinate with team members and external advocates in consultation with the President Legal.
- Travel Pan India as required for case defense and hearings.
Eligibility
- LLB degree.
- 1+ years of legal experience in banks, financial institutions, NBFCs, or ARCs (experience with ARC preferred).
- Strong understanding of banking, commercial, and financial laws including SARFAESI, DRT, IBC 2016, and RBI guidelines.
- Effective communication, business understanding, and commitment to organizational growth.
- Ability to multi-task, work under time-bound conditions, and follow systems and processes.
