Details of the Job/Internship
Chinmay Finlease Limited is hiring a Legal Executive with experience of 1–2 years.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft contracts, agreements, legal opinions, and other legal documents under supervision.
- Assist in managing cases including organizing files, preparing summaries, and scheduling court appearances.
- Communicate with internal and external clients to gather information and provide updates.
- Support litigation preparation, including evidence gathering and witness interviews.
- Perform administrative tasks such as managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and maintaining legal records.
- Stay updated on relevant laws and participate in professional development activities.
- Provide general support to the legal department including managing budgets and coordinating with external counsel.
- Conduct legal research on laws, regulations, and precedents to support cases or provide guidance.
Eligibility
- Have 2 to 3 years of relevant experience working with private banks, law firms, or NBFCs.
- Degree in Law.
- Experience in Indian lending operations for NBFCs or banks.
- Excellent grasp of laws related to structured finance, retail finance, capital markets, and equity raise. Working knowledge of IBC is an added benefit.
- Experience in drafting various processes and standardizing templates.
- Coordination with external counsels for advisory and related matters.
- Knowledge in drafting, vetting deeds, collection handling, receivables, property attachment, and legal processes.
- Ability to understand business requirements and translate them to legal team needs.
