Chinmay Finlease Limited is hiring for the position of Legal Executive with 1-2 years of experience to join their office in Ahmedabad.
Role and Responsibilities
Legal Drafting & Documentation
- Draft, review, and vet contracts, agreements, deeds, and legal opinions.
- Standardize templates and processes for operational efficiency.
Case Management & Litigation Support
- Assist in managing case files, preparing summaries, and scheduling hearings.
- Support in litigation by collecting evidence, drafting pleadings, and liaising with external counsel.
- Handle recovery matters, receivables, and property attachment processes.
Advisory & Compliance
- Provide legal insights on structured finance, retail finance, NBFC lending, and corporate transactions.
- Assist in compliance with IBC and other relevant legal frameworks.
- Monitor regulatory changes and assess their impact on business operations.
Client & Stakeholder Coordination
- Communicate with internal teams and clients to gather information and provide case updates.
- Coordinate with external counsels for advisory, litigation, and transactional support.
Research & Development
- Conduct legal research on laws, regulations, and precedents relevant to NBFC operations.
- Stay updated on industry trends, legal amendments, and compliance requirements.
Administrative & Departmental Support
- Maintain legal databases, records, and documentation.
- Manage departmental tasks, including scheduling, reporting, and budget coordination.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB).
- 2–3 years of experience in legal roles with NBFCs, banks, or law firms.
- Strong knowledge of lending operations, structured finance, retail finance, capital markets, equity raise, and IBC (working knowledge is an added advantage).
- Proven experience in drafting, vetting, recovery processes, and legal documentation.
- Ability to translate business requirements into legal frameworks and actionable solutions.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
