Details of the Job/Internship
Collabera is hiring for the position of Legal Executive with 1-2 years of experience to join their office in Vadodara.
Role and Responsibilities
1. Contract Management
- Draft, review, redline, and negotiate a wide range of contracts, including:
- Client & Vendor MSAs and SOWs
- NDAs and MoUs
- Lease and office space agreements
- IT/software licensing, SaaS, and technology contracts
- Employment and staffing agreements
- Participate in client/vendor calls for negotiations and clarifications.
- Ensure contracts align with business objectives, risk frameworks, and compliance standards.
- Maintain and track contracts in a central repository with proper version control and audit readiness.
2. Litigation & Dispute Management
- Assist in managing ongoing litigation, arbitration, and disputes.
- Coordinate with external legal counsel and maintain updated case status reports.
- Support in drafting responses to legal notices and regulatory queries.
3. HR Legal & Labour Law Support
- Advise on labour law compliance and employee-related legal issues.
- Assist HR in drafting employment agreements, policy updates, and ensuring statutory compliance.
4. Corporate Secretarial Support
- Prepare and maintain statutory registers, records, and filings with MCA/ROC.
- Draft notices, agendas, minutes, and resolutions for Board, Committee, and General Meetings.
- Support compliance under the Companies Act, 2013 and allied regulations.
- Liaise with regulators, auditors, and statutory authorities.
5. Compliance & Risk Management
- Monitor legal and regulatory changes and prepare impact assessments for management.
- Assist in implementing compliance frameworks, policies, and governance practices.
- Support internal audits and risk mitigation initiatives.
6. Legal Research & Advisory
- Conduct research on corporate, commercial, and labour laws.
- Provide practical legal solutions and day-to-day advisory to business teams.
Eligibility
- Mandatory: BA LL.B / LL.B (Bachelor of Laws) from a recognized university.
- Preferred: CS qualification (completed or pursuing) with prior exposure to secretarial compliance.
- Additional qualifications (e.g., LLM, specialization in corporate/commercial law) will be an added advantage.
Salary/Stipend
