Details of the Job/Internship
CTC is hiring a Legal Executive with over 10 years of experience, including U.S. legal exposure, to join its office in Chennai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and manage employment agreements.
- Prepare and review bonus and commission agreements.
- Draft and negotiate client contracts with regulatory compliance.
- Manage vendor contracts including Corp-to-Corp (C2C) and 1099 agreements.
- Review and respond to unemployment claims.
- Handle workers’ compensation insurance claims and communication with insurers.
- Liaise with state labor departments and agencies for compliance requirements.
- Support teams with legal research, training, and policy development.
Eligibility
- 10+ years of legal experience with U.S. legal exposure.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. employment laws and practices.
- Expertise in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts.
- Experience with unemployment claims and workers’ compensation matters.
- Ability to liaise effectively with U.S. state agencies.
- Strong legal research and communication skills.
