Details of the Job/Internship

Dolat Capital Market Pvt. Ltd. is hiring for the position of Legal Executive with 1 year of experience to join their office in Mumbai. 

Role and Responsibilities

1. Contract Management

• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of agreements including vendor contracts, service agreements, NDAs, and commercial documentation.
• Ensure all contractual terms comply with internal policies and applicable legal standards.

2. Regulatory Compliance

• Monitor legal developments in corporate, labor, and data privacy laws to ensure company-wide compliance.
• Assist in the preparation and submission of statutory filings and the maintenance of regulatory records.

3. Litigation Support

• Coordinate with external counsel on litigation and legal proceedings.
• Assist in preparing briefs, affidavits, and legal responses; maintain proper litigation documentation.

4. Legal Advisory & Research

• Conduct legal research on corporate, commercial, and regulatory matters.
• Support internal teams by providing practical legal insights on business operations and strategies.

5. Internal Collaboration

• Partner with internal departments (HR, Finance, Operations, etc.) to address legal issues and support policy development and compliance initiatives.

6. Risk & Audit Support

• Assist in internal legal audits and help identify potential areas of legal risk.
• Contribute to enhancing compliance processes and risk mitigation strategies.

7. Training & Knowledge Management

• Deliver internal training sessions on key legal and regulatory topics.
• Maintain an organized repository of legal documents and ensure regular updates to internal legal resources.

Eligibility

• Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from a recognized university.
• 1 year of experience in a legal, compliance, or corporate advisory role preferred; freshers are also encouraged to apply.
• Strong understanding of Indian corporate, employment, and regulatory laws.
• Excellent drafting, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
