Details of the Job/Internship

DRISHTEE is hiring a Legal Executive for a full-time role based in Delhi and/or Kolkata. The position involves providing legal support across contract management, dispute resolution, legal advisory, risk management, documentation, and stakeholder coordination, with regular interaction with external legal consultants and internal teams.

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and finalise contracts, agreements, MoUs, and NDAs in coordination with legal consultants.
• Manage documentation related to arbitration, mediation, and litigation, and coordinate with external legal counsel.
• Provide legal opinions on new business initiatives, partnerships, and funding proposals with external legal counsel.
• Support intellectual property matters, including trademarks, copyrights, and patents, through external legal counsels.
• Assist HR in employment-related legal matters, including contracts, grievances, and compliance.
• Conduct risk assessments and suggest corrective measures through audits of agreements with stakeholders.
• Develop policies and processes to mitigate legal risks in partnerships, funding arrangements, and projects.
• Maintain accurate legal records and ensure compliance with record retention practices.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders and work with cross-functional teams to provide legal support.

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Willingness to travel.

Salary/Stipend
