Details of the Job/Internship
DriverShaab is hiring a Legal Executive with 1–4 years of experience to join their Kolkata team onsite.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft and vet employment letters, HR policies, PoSH compliance, disciplinary actions, exits, and settlements.
- Ensure compliance with labour laws across multiple states.
- Advise on staffing and contractor structures.
- Draft, review, and negotiate master services agreements, NDAs, vendor and client contracts.
- Drive legal strategy for payment collections, prepare legal notices and support litigation and recovery processes.
- Liaise with external counsel; represent DriverShaab in courts, tribunals, and labour authorities.
- Maintain statutory records, assist with inspections, audits, and compliance checks.
- Provide practical legal advice to various departments and conduct training sessions.
- Travel PAN-India for legal matter appearances and client escalations.
Eligibility
- LL.B. degree and enrollment with the Bar Council of West Bengal.
- 1–4 years of post-qualification experience in employment/labour law and contract drafting.
- Strong drafting, filing, and appearance skills.
- Experience in payment recovery and collections legal workflows.
- Fluency in English and Bengali; Hindi is a plus.
- Willingness to travel PAN-India.
