Details of the Job/Internship
The Gateway Group of Companies is hiring a Legal Associate with experience of 2–4 years to join their team.
Role and Responsibilities
- Provide legal support across departments and ensure compliance with applicable laws.
- Draft, review, negotiate, and manage contracts and legal documents.
- Develop and update company policies in line with legal requirements.
- Monitor changes in laws and advise stakeholders on their impact.
- Manage and coordinate litigation matters with external counsel.
- Ensure adherence to corporate governance and statutory compliance.
- Maintain legal documentation and contract repositories.
- Provide legal guidance for business decisions and risk mitigation.
- Collaborate with HR, Finance, and Operations teams on legal matters.
- Support audits and ensure compliance with internal policies.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB); LLM preferred.
- 2–4 years of experience in a corporate legal or similar role.
- Strong expertise in contract management, corporate laws, and compliance.
- Experience in handling litigation and working with external counsel.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
