Details of the Job/Internship
GoKhana is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Corporate Legal Executive to join our Legal and Compliance team.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review and approve Master service agreements, End to end Agreements, Vendor Agreements, SaaS Agreements, Tripartite Agreements, Non-Disclosure Agreements, Lease Agreements, Legal Notices, Partnership contracts, Termination letters, Addendums, Amendments and various other legal documents for the PAN India business of the company as per the interest and requirements of stakeholders thereby to ensure company rights and interests are protected.
- Client Management and Negotiation with regards to the legal documents in order to execute the contracts as per the company policies and interest.
- Work along with other departments within the company, to provide accurate and timely advice on various legal topics.
- Provide advice on contract requirements, legal risks and liabilities, with research to evaluate risk factors impacting business decisions and operations, and apply effective risk management techniques, offer proactive advice on risk factors.
- Maintain softcopies and hardcopies of the major legal documents and provide accurate information on the renewal parts on time.
- Collaborate with client management team, balance the needs and requirements of the parties involved, identify legal risks and propose effective risk mitigation strategies to the company.
- Ensure regulatory compliance of the company in respect with applicable laws, regulations and Industrial standards.
- Provide clarification as the first point of reference to business functions on legal compliance requirements, internal processes and pre-contract due diligence, contract/document drafting and related issues.
- Engage and coordinate with the company’s legal counsel to assist in the litigation matters.
Eligibility
- Minimum 1 year of experience, either in litigation or corporate field.
- Excellent knowledge of corporate law and procedure.
- Excellent legal drafting, researching and communications skills and proficiency in English.
- Excellent time management and prioritization skills, managing deadlines to meet stakeholders’ expectations.
- Sound judgment and ability to analyses situations, facts and information, and full comprehension of the external environment that influences the Company’s business operations.
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills with effective communication at all levels of the organization and the ability to maintain strong relationships within various functions.
