Details of the Job/Internship
GoQuest Media is hiring a Legal Executive with experience of 1–2 years to join their legal team.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate various media and entertainment contracts.
- Handle specialized production agreements for scripted and unscripted content.
- Manage end-to-end content licensing agreements for international distribution.
- Advise on intellectual property rights, copyright issues, and content acquisition.
- Ensure all commercial contracts align with the company's strategic goals and risk profiles.
- Maintain a repository of active agreements and track renewal or expiration dates.
Eligibility
- 1–2 years of post-qualification experience (PQE).
- Demonstrated experience in handling Media and Entertainment contracts.
- Specific knowledge of production agreements and content licensing is mandatory.
- Strong understanding of Intellectual Property (IP) laws and copyright regulations.
- Excellent negotiation skills and attention to detail in legal drafting.
