GROUPE VERITAS is hiring for the position of Legal Executive with 5-7 years of experience to join their office in Mumbai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Manage a wide range of legal matters including civil, criminal, cheque bounce recovery, and property-related cases.
- Represent the organization and attend hearings before various courts, tribunals, and legal forums.
- Liaise and coordinate with external advocates and government authorities regarding pending legal matters.
- Track the status of ongoing litigation, follow up on hearings, and plan appropriate next steps.
- Draft, review, and vet various legal documents including contracts, notices, affidavits, and agreements.
- Maintain and update an organized MIS and digital database for all legal cases and documentation.
- Ensure internal coordination and reporting on legal matters to relevant departments and stakeholders.
- Monitor and stay updated on changes in laws and regulations relevant to the company’s operations.
Eligibility
- Minimum: 5 to 7 years of relevant legal experience, preferably in litigation and corporate legal affairs.
