Details of the Job/Internship

Harini Builders  is hiring for the position of Legal Executive with 2-4 years of experience to join their office in Chennai. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Vet and verify title documents including sale deeds, parent documents, ECs, pattas, chittas, FMBs, etc.
• Draft and review legal agreements such as sale agreements, Joint Development Agreements (JDAs), POAs, and lease deeds.
• Coordinate registrations at Sub-Registrar Offices — including document execution, witnessing, and post-registration follow-ups.
• Manage end-to-end procedures on the TNREGINET portal (e-stamping, deed uploads, appointment scheduling, and document tracking).
• Conduct due diligence, title scrutiny, and prepare legal opinion reports for property acquisitions.
• Liaise with external legal counsel, government authorities, revenue departments, and local bodies for compliance and approvals.
• Maintain up-to-date legal records, registration documentation, and license renewals for projects.
• Provide legal assistance to cross-functional teams such as Projects, Liaison, and Sales.

Eligibility

• Education: LL.B. from a recognized university.
• Experience: 2–4 years in real estate law or property-focused legal roles.
• Strong knowledge of land laws, registration processes, stamp duty norms, and local regulations.
• Practical experience in dealing with Sub-Registrar Offices and TNREGINET procedures.
• Excellent drafting, coordination, and negotiation skills.
• Must hold a valid Advocate License (Bar Council Registration Number required during application).

Salary/Stipend
