Details of the Job/Internship
HCLTech is hiring a Legal Executive with 1–3 years of experience to join their office in Mumbai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate vendor agreements, service contracts, and partnership contracts.
- Ensure contracts comply with legal standards and internal policies.
- Collaborate with internal teams to advise on contract terms.
- Identify and mitigate risks arising from contractual provisions.
- Maintain organised records of contract documents and related correspondence.
- Provide training and support on contract-related matters.
- Stay updated on legal and industry developments in contract law.
- Support general corporate, advisory, commercial compliance, and regulatory matters as needed.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Law with 1–3 years of experience, preferably in the IT industry.
- Proven experience in contract drafting and negotiation.
- Strong knowledge of contract law and legal terminology.
- Excellent communication skills and fluency in English.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and contract management tools.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks independently.
