Details of the Job/Internship
Kapiva is hiring a legal executive to join them in Bengaluru office.
Role and Responsibilities
- Prepare and review a variety of commercial contracts, including NDAs, vendor agreements, service agreements and other business-related documents.
- Assist in drafting and reviewing responses to legal notices, plaints, written statements and support dispute resolution processes. Coordinate with external counsels on litigation matters and ensure timely updates and follow-ups and maintain the litigation tracker.
- Support the filing and management of trademarks, copyrights, and patents to ensure all intellectual property of the company are safeguarded.
- Maintain organized and updated records of executed contracts, legal opinions, and other relevant documents.
- Assist in corporate secretarial tasks, including reviewing resolutions, maintaining statutory registers, and preparing board meeting minutes if required.
- Support statutory filings and compliance with corporate governance requirements.
- Assist in researching and reviewing new legal and regulatory developments to ensure compliance.
Eligibility
- Graduate in law with a legal experience of 1-2 years working in a law firm or in a corporate legal department as an in-house counsel preferably in the FMCG industry.
- Exposure to secretarial compliances, including statutory filings, is highly preferred.
- Willingness to stay updated on evolving legal and regulatory landscapes and apply learnings in the organization.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities/skills.
- Clear and concise communication skills, both written and verbal.
