Details of the Job/Internship

Kapiva is hiring a Legal Specialist with 4-5 years of experience to join their office in Bangalore Urban. The role involves managing contracts, litigation, regulatory compliance, and intellectual property matters in a dynamic business environment.

Role and Responsibilities

• Prepare and review commercial contracts including NDAs, manufacturing, vendor, and service agreements.
• Draft and review responses to legal notices and litigation documents; coordinate with external counsels and maintain a litigation tracker.
• Support the filing and management of trademarks, copyrights, and patents to safeguard company IP.
• Provide legal support on product launches, collaborations, and campaigns ensuring compliance with laws such as FSSAI, AYUSH, ASCI, and Consumer Protection.
• Maintain organized records of contracts, legal opinions, and compliance documents.
• Research and review new legal and regulatory developments to ensure adherence.
• Liaise with authorities for compliance queries, show-cause responses, and submissions.
• Conduct training sessions for internal teams on compliance and contractual awareness.

Eligibility

• Graduate in Law with 4-5 years of experience in a law firm or as in-house counsel, preferably in the FMCG industry.
• Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to stay updated on legal and regulatory developments.

Salary/Stipend
