Details of the Job/Internship
Keyence India Private Limited is hiring a Legal Executive with experience of 0 to 2 years to join their office in Chennai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and vet legal agreements, including Purchase Contracts, Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), and supplier contracts.
- Ensure all contractual documents are accurate, legally compliant, and aligned with internal company policies.
- Prepare, maintain, and organize company secretarial records and legal documentation.
- Support compliance with applicable corporate, commercial, and statutory regulations in India.
- Coordinate with external legal counsel for case updates, documentation follow-ups, and routine legal matters.
- Assist in litigation management and handle regulatory correspondence as required.
- Prepare and submit data for statutory filings related to GST, RBI, MCA, EPF, and Professional Tax.
- Provide legal and regulatory input to cross-functional teams including Finance, HR, and Operations.
- Identify opportunities for improving internal legal and compliance processes.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field such as Law, Commerce, or Business Administration.
- 0 to 2 years of experience in a similar legal, compliance, or corporate secretarial role (internships included).
- Basic knowledge of Indian corporate laws, contracts, and statutory compliance requirements.
- Strong legal drafting skills and professional verbal and written communication.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and adapt to a dynamic, fast-paced work environment.
- High level of attention to detail and strong analytical problem-solving abilities.
- Relevant professional certifications are preferred but not mandatory.
Salary/Stipend
5.5 – 7 LPA.
