Details of the Job/Internship
Mati Carbon India Private Limited is hiring a Legal Executive with 2–4 years of experience to support legal matters related to corporate transactions, agreements, and regulatory compliance at their New Delhi office.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate legal agreements including service contracts, NDAs, MOUs, partnership agreements, and commercial transactions.
- Provide legal advisory on corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and risk management.
- Support corporate transactions including M&A, joint ventures, and investment matters.
- Ensure compliance with laws related to governance, sustainability, and environmental regulations.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external counsel on legal issues and litigation.
- Maintain corporate legal documentation including board resolutions, shareholder agreements, and statutory filings.
- Conduct legal research and monitor regulatory changes.
- Support corporate secretarial functions including board meeting documentation, minutes, and filings.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law (LL.B./LL.M.).
- 2–4 years of relevant experience in corporate legal work, contract management, or compliance.
- Company Secretary (CS) qualification is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of corporate law, contract law, regulatory compliance, and corporate governance.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Attention to detail, strong communication skills, and ability to work independently.
