Details of the Job/Internship
Mati Carbon India Private Limited is hiring a Legal Executive with experience of 2-4 years to join their office in New Delhi.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate legal agreements including service contracts, NDAs, MOUs, partnership agreements, and commercial documents.
- Provide legal advisory services on corporate matters, including governance, compliance, and risk management.
- Support corporate transactions such as mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and investments.
- Ensure compliance with laws and regulations related to governance, sustainability, and environmental standards.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external counsel to resolve legal matters and manage litigation, if required.
- Maintain and update legal records such as board resolutions, shareholder agreements, and statutory filings.
- Conduct legal research and monitor regulatory changes affecting the business.
- Support corporate secretarial functions, including documentation of board meetings, minutes, and filings.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law (LL.B./LL.M.).
- 2–4 years of relevant experience in corporate legal work, contract management, or compliance.
- Company Secretary (CS) qualification is an added advantage.
