Details of the Job/Internship

Medanta is hiring a Legal Associate with 1–3 years of experience to assist in managing legal disputes, contracts, and compliance matters. The role involves litigation support, contract drafting and management, policy implementation, and providing legal guidance to hospital management.

Role and Responsibilities

• Assist in handling all legal disputes, claims, and litigation involving the hospital.
• Maintain comprehensive records of litigation cases and provide regular updates to management and corporate legal team.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, including vendor agreements, service contracts, leases, and partnership agreements.
• Ensure contracts comply with legal requirements, hospital policies, and industry standards.
• Manage timely renewals, amendments, or terminations of contracts.
• Maintain contracts in a centralized contract management system.
• Help develop and implement legal policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Support management in strategies to address potential legal risks and opportunities.
• Monitor changes in laws, regulations, and industry standards affecting hospital operations.
• Ensure compliance with licensing, accreditation, and reporting obligations.

Eligibility

• 1–3 years of experience as a legal professional; healthcare law experience is an advantage.
• Experience in litigation, contract management, and general corporate legal matters.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

Salary/Stipend
