Details of the Job/Internship
Moneyplus Financial Services Limited is hiring a Legal Officer with 4–5 years of experience to join their office in Gurugram (MG Road, DLF Phase 2, near MG Metro Station).
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft writ petitions, legal notices, SLPs, suits, etc.
- Manage suits, disputes, police matters, recovery proceedings, and cheque bouncing cases.
- Brief counsels, follow up on cases, and guide company representatives appearing in courts.
- Review litigation progress with business and operations teams, and offer legal advice.
- Provide legal support as required by management.
- Obtain state bar admission from nearby states.
- Draft pleadings and legal documents such as motions and discovery requests.
- Conduct research on legal issues related to cases.
- Interview witnesses and experts, and gather evidence.
- Draft legal briefs and motions for court submission.
Eligibility
- Minimum 4–5 years of experience.
- Substantive knowledge of law and legal procedures.
- Knowledge of constitutional and civil law.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and oral advocacy skills.
- Must possess the ability to convince judges, juries, and opposing counsel.
