Details of the Job/Internship

Notandas Realty is hiring a Legal Executive with 4-5 years of experience to join their office in Mumbai.

Role and Responsibilities

Title Due Diligence

• Conduct comprehensive legal due diligence of land and property assets.
• Examine and vet title documents, chain of agreements, 7/12 extracts, property cards, and revenue records.
• Coordinate with external legal advisors and surveyors for title verification and certification.

Agreements & Documentation

• Draft, review, and negotiate various legal documents including:
• Sale Agreements
• Development Agreements
• Joint Venture Agreements
• MOUs, POAs
• Lease Deeds and Leave & License Agreements
• Ensure all documentation aligns with applicable laws such as RERA, MOFA, and the Indian Contract Act.

RERA Compliance

• Manage legal aspects of RERA registration and regulatory disclosures.
• Prepare and review submissions; liaise with consultants and authorities to ensure timely compliance.
• Maintain internal compliance records and trackers.

Litigation & Dispute Resolution

• Handle legal notices, consumer complaints, and arbitration matters.
• Coordinate with external counsel and prepare documentation for ongoing court and tribunal proceedings.

Regulatory & Statutory Compliance

• Ensure compliance with real estate, municipal, and environmental regulations.
• Liaise with statutory bodies such as SRA, MCGM, MHADA, and Revenue Departments.

Internal Legal Support

• Advise cross-functional teams (Sales, Projects, Finance, etc.) on legal risks and regulatory obligations.
• Maintain legal records, contract repositories, and MIS for litigation and compliance.

Eligibility

Education

• LLB (3-year or 5-year) from a recognized university.
• LLM is preferred but not mandatory.

Experience

• 4–5 years of post-qualification experience in real estate legal practice.
• Prior work with a reputed developer, law firm, or land consultancy is highly desirable.

Salary/Stipend

Compensation details will be finalized during the interview process with the selected candidate.
