Details of the Job/Internship

Plintron is hiring a Legal Executive with a law degree to join their Chennai office. The role is full-time and on-site, and involves handling legal document preparation, compliance, contract review, and legal advisory support across various departments.

Role and Responsibilities

• Prepare and review domestic and international business contracts, including NDAs, MOUs, lease agreements, and franchisee agreements.
• Identify legal, regulatory, and critical business risks in contracts.
• Handle intellectual property matters including trademarks, copyrights, patents, and domain names.
• Review data protection laws (GDPR, etc.), employment laws, IT Act, and provide legal opinions.
• Assist in drafting policies, guidance notes, and conduct legal research.
• Support arbitration and litigation matters.
• Manage contract management systems and maintain contract repositories.
• Stay updated on applicable laws and share updates with the legal team.
• Undertake additional legal tasks as assigned.

Eligibility

• Bachelor's degree in Law or equivalent qualification.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
