Details of the Job/Internship
Quant Tech Pi is hiring a Legal Executive with at least two years of experience to support its legal counsel and contribute to the company’s legal operations. The role involves providing legal recommendations, conducting research and documentation, handling case management and acting as a liaison across departments. The position offers close collaboration with management personnel and the General Counsel, cross-functional business exposure and early responsibilities in a fast-growing environment.
Role and Responsibilities
- Providing legal advice to Quant Tech Pi and related companies.
- Advising on legal matters relating to daily operations and assisting the General Counsel with assessing and analysing legal implications of contracts and documents.
- Drafting, reviewing and preparing agreements and legal documents.
- Analysing legal information and advising on contractual implications.
- Communicating with management personnel, clients and stakeholders.
- Liaising with external solicitors on corporate, transactional M&A and dispute matters.
- Assisting the General Counsel with status updates, file management and summaries of legal matters.
- Participating in internal and external meetings.
- Liaising with departments including the CEO’s office, management, HR and finance.
Eligibility
- Minimum two years of post-qualification experience in legal practice or in-house corporate and commercial matters.
- Fluent in English with working proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia.
- Reliable, eager to learn, able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills and comfortable interacting with colleagues, external lawyers and business owners.
- Proactive, with willingness to develop new skills beyond legal matters.
- Extra credit for being detailed, meticulous, analytical, a strong problem-solver and demonstrating good interpersonal skills.
Salary/Stipend
