Details of the Job/Internship
QX Global Group is hiring a Legal Associate / In-House Counsel with 1–3 years of experience to join their office in Ahmedabad.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, negotiate, and amend NDAs, Service Agreements, Vendor/Supplier Agreements, Lease Agreements, Addendums, and Statements of Work.
 - Ensure contracts protect company interests with robust clauses on confidentiality, IP, indemnity, limitation of liability, dispute resolution, and governing law.
 - Maintain custody and archiving of executed contracts and legal records.
 - Manage trademark filings, examination responses, oppositions, and other IP-related matters.
 - Monitor compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
 - Conduct legal research and provide practical advice on business risks.
 - Support the company in legal proceedings and disputes.
 - Pursue recovery of outstanding dues through notices and debt recovery agencies.
 - Manage filings in small claims courts and coordinate with external counsel.
 - Assist in settlement negotiations and dispute resolution.
 - Draft, review, and update employment contracts and HR policies.
 - Advise on employee relations, disciplinary issues, and grievance handling.
 - Ensure compliance with employment and labour laws.
 - Act as the legal point of contact for clients, vendors, and partners.
 - Lead or assist in negotiations and settlements with stakeholders.
 - Contribute to team growth through planning, hiring, mentoring, and knowledge sharing.
 
Eligibility
- Law degree (LLB or equivalent); LLM preferred.
 - 1–3 years of relevant post-qualification experience, ideally in corporate or in-house roles.
 - Knowledge of contract law, corporate law, employment law, and intellectual property law.
 - Experience in IT/ITES, outsourcing, or professional services preferred.
 - Exposure to international contracts and multi-jurisdictional issues desirable.
 - Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
