Details of the Job/Internship
RBZ Jewellers Ltd is hiring a Legal Executive with experience of 2+ years to join their office in Ahmedabad. The role involves managing legal documentation, regulatory coordination, compliance activities, drafting and vetting contracts, liaising with government authorities, and supporting litigation and compliance processes.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and vet contracts including NDAs, job work agreements, and commercial agreements.
- Liaise with government authorities for licenses, approvals, and renewals.
- Ensure compliance with labour laws, contract law, banking laws, IPR, and other statutory regulations.
- Handle regulatory filings with local, state, and central authorities.
- Maintain legal records, documentation, and compliance registers.
- Review banking documents such as mortgage deeds, loan agreements, and guarantees.
- Monitor legal updates and ensure timely compliance with regulatory changes.
- Coordinate with external legal counsel for litigation, notices, and dispute handling.
- Prepare documentation and evidence for legal proceedings.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB).
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in legal drafting, compliance, and liaisoning.
- Strong knowledge of legal drafting and contract management.
- Understanding of regulatory compliance and statutory frameworks.
- Good communication and negotiation skills.
- High attention to detail and confidentiality.
- Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, and legal research tools.
