Details of the Job/Internship

Snapmint is hiring a Legal Executive with experience of 3–4 years to join their office in Mumbai. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Review, draft, and negotiate commercial contracts, including service and financing agreements.
• Conduct in-depth research on RBI NBFC norms, data protection laws, and fintech standards.
• Manage legal risks across lending, collections, marketing, and data usage functions.
• Oversee regulatory filings and audits with authorities such as the RBI and MCA.
• Monitor timelines for procedural requirements related to notices and dispute resolution.
• Collaborate with external counsel for litigation, structuring, and formal regulatory opinions.
• Develop internal training materials regarding key legal and regulatory updates.
• Contribute to the formulation of internal policies and governance frameworks.

Eligibility

• LL.B. or LL.M. from a reputed university in India.
• 3 to 4 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in law firms or in-house teams.
• Strong exposure to fintech, NBFCs, or the broader financial services sector.
• Robust understanding of regulatory advisory and compliance frameworks.
• Excellent legal drafting skills and the ability to manage competing deadlines.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with business stakeholders and regulators.
