Details of the Job/Internship
Teal India is hiring a Legal Executive to assist in preparing Legal Scrutiny Reports and provide legal opinions to simplify the property due diligence journey for clients in their Bengaluru office.
Role and Responsibilities
- Conduct title due diligence and provide legal opinions for Karnataka or Andhra Pradesh.
- Draft and vet contracts and other documents.
- Manage allotted cases effectively and report escalations in a timely manner.
- Coordinate with external counsels and clients.
- Research land laws of different states and coordinate with vendors for securing documents and reports.
- Handle property registration work.
- Manage other related tasks as assigned from time to time.
Eligibility
- Ability to work with confidential documents.
- Basic understanding of real estate laws (sound knowledge of RERA is an added advantage).
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Good communication skills.
- Proficiency in Telugu or Kannada (ability to read at least one is mandatory).
- Background in litigation preferred but not compulsory.
- Prior experience in real estate law and knowledge of basic property documentation is an added advantage.
Salary/Stipend
