Details of the Job/Internship
Turtle Limited is hiring a Legal Executive with 3 to 4 years of experience to join their office in Howrah.
Role and Responsibilities
- Drafting legal agreements/franchisee & dealer contracts on time and other legal documents to ensure the company’s full legal rights.
- Give accurate and timely counsel to executives on a variety of legal topics (labor law, partnerships, etc.)
- Collaborate with legal team to devise efficient legal defense strategies
- Assist legal manager in litigation matters, as & when arises
- Work closely with the legal manager to regularly monitor compliance
- Communicate and negotiate with external parties (regulators, external counsel, public authority etc.), creating relations of trust
- Maintain current knowledge of alterations in legislation
- Knowledge of Trademark protection, registration, Legal cases in NI Act etc.
Eligibility
- Proven experience as a Legal professional in retail or manufacturing industry with 3 to 4 years' experience.
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of corporate law and procedures.
- Excellent skills in legal drafting & commercial contracts management (franchisee).
- Sound judgement and ability to analyze situations and information
- Outstanding communication skills.
- BA & LLB degree is mandatory.
